A field guide for the charts
Mariah’s catalog stays alive when people play it, request it, and buy it in ways the charts can actually see. This guide gathers methods used by organized Lambs — especially the public playbook repeated by chart watcher RJ (@LegendaryTingz) — and explains what each action is for. It is educational. It is unofficial. Radio programmers, DSPs, and Billboard still make the decisions.

Priority title: All My Life (Channel Tres Remix)
Official Glitter-era remix, out now — stream the remix credit, not only the 2001 album cut.
U.S. Hot 100 and Billboard 200 tracking weeks run Friday–Thursday. This week ends Thursday 11:59 p.m. ET. A purchase Sunday and a purchase Friday morning can land in different tracking weeks — check the day before you buy.
Today’s Stationhead link is in Lambily posts — it expires, so it isn’t hard-coded here. App: stationhead.com
Curator changelog — 2026-09-17: Priority set to “All My Life (Channel Tres Remix)” — official audio out now. Glitter 25 physical/vinyl stays a later purchase week, not today's stream priority.
Curator’s note
This page describes public fan practice. It is not a guarantee of chart position, not a how-to for artificial inflation, and not an official campaign. Billboard, Luminate, radio chains, and DSPs publish and change their own rules. If a tactic would require fake accounts, bots, or misrepresenting purchases, do not do it.
Start here
If you only have five minutes
- Play the official recording of All My Life (Channel Tres Remix) once through.
- Shazam it once.
- Open Stationhead if a room is live and you have Premium Spotify or Apple Music.
- Stop. That is a complete day.
“All My Life” is the Rick James–written Glitter (2001) cut. The Channel Tres Remix is the 2026 official version now circulating as a single and tied to the Glitter 25 campaign. The Sanctuary is documenting the release and teaching chart-visible listening; it is not a label campaign and does not promise a chart position.
| Play / buy / Shazam this | Do not substitute |
|---|---|
| All My Life (Channel Tres Remix) — Mariah Carey · Channel Tres | The 2001 Glitter album version of “All My Life” |
| Official DSP / official YouTube audio | Fan rips, unofficial DJ edits, random “All My Life” songs by other artists |
If a player shows only “All My Life” with no “Channel Tres Remix” subtitle, switch to the official remix listing before counting it as a promo play.
If you have twenty minutes
Submit the title on 1–3 real station request / Song Alerts forms. Once per station.
If this is a buy week and you were going to purchase anyway
Follow the buy-order card in Sales that count. If you are not spending money, skip it.

What the charts actually count
Billboard Hot 100 blends three inputs for a tracking week (typically Friday–Thursday in the U.S.): on-demand audio/video streams from reporting services, radio audience impressions from monitored stations (often via Mediabase), and sales — digital downloads and physical singles.
Billboard 200 / album consumption uses equivalent album units: one paid album sale is one unit; ten individual track sales from an album (track equivalent albums, TEA) is roughly one unit; and a set number of streams of album tracks (streaming equivalent albums, SEA) is roughly one unit. Billboard adjusted its stream-to-album ratios in early 2026 — fewer streams per unit, more relative weight for ad-supported streams. Treat any ratio as “the current published formula,” not an eternal one.
For fans, this means: streaming is usually the volume engine; radio can move a song even when streams are only moderate; a download still weighs more per action than a single stream; and buying tracks separately can help the song on the Hot 100 while still feeding TEA to the album — one album purchase does not create ten Hot 100 song sales.
User-generated YouTube and some non-reporting sources may be excluded, and coordinated activity that looks inorganic can be filtered. This is a factual limit, not a conspiracy.
2
Streaming that registers
- Play official versions on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, YouTube Music.
- Prefer complete plays — skipping immediately is weak support.
- Use official uploads and label videos, not random rips.
- Daily listening beats a single spike.
- Premium / paid tiers are what Stationhead needs to generate countable streams.
3
Stationhead parties
Stationhead is a free listening room that sits on top of Spotify or Apple Music. A host plays a song; every listener with a linked premium account generates a stream on their own service. One hundred people in the room is one hundred streams of that track. Billboard-facing communities use it because the stream originates from the DSP, not from a third-party file.
- Download Stationhead (app or web).
- Connect Spotify Premium or Apple Music — free Spotify does not count.
- Open the share link posted for the Lambs / Mariah room that day.
- Stay in the room with sound actually playing.
- Request titles in chat when hosts are taking requests.
Use the live Stationhead link from that day’s Lambily post — links are session-specific and expire, so none is hard-coded here. Recurring public hosts and organizers, credited only as examples of public practice and not as Sanctuary staff: @LegendaryTingz (RJ), and hosts he has named publicly such as @ScooterInSA, @kplzGRIND, and @touch_my_elbow.
Official app: stationhead.com. A real Lambs room is usually Mariah-only or Mariah-forward, run by a known host, and never paywalled with a “guaranteed #1” claim.
Free tier and muted chat don’t count — a room only counts if a Premium Spotify or Apple Music account is actually playing audio. It is the most common way to join and not have it count.
Invite someone to the room—
Does this count?
- The official master
- Prefer the commercial official recording, not a live bootleg, speed-up, lyric-video scrape, or random DJ rip.
- Combined versions vs. separate SKUs
- Some versions of the same song are combined on the charts; some remixes are separate products. When a campaign says “buy both versions,” it means separate store SKUs. When it says “stream this title,” it means the official files.
- Complete plays
- Complete plays beat skip-and-loop theater. Don’t restart a track hundreds of times from one phone.
- Premium Stationhead only
- Stationhead only counts if a Premium Spotify or Apple Music account is actually playing audio — not free tier, not muted silence in chat. One Premium account is one stream, even if several people sit in the room together.
- Official video uploads
- Official label/audio videos are the YouTube path; user uploads may not report the same way.
4
Radio requests
Airplay still feeds format charts (Urban AC, Hot AC, Gospel, rhythmic, pop) that can contribute to the Hot 100. The public method repeated by @LegendaryTingz: open the station’s website, find “Song Alerts” or the request tool, type the exact credit — e.g. “Mariah Carey - Nothing Is Impossible” — and submit once per station per reasonable interval. Do not spam.
Find your station: identify the format that fits the current single (Urban AC, Hot AC, Gospel, rhythmic, pop), open that station’s own site, and look for “Song Alerts” or a request tool. Format fit matters — a gospel-leaning title gets worked to Gospel then Urban AC; an AC ballad goes to Hot AC. Don’t request a gospel cut at a rock station.
A real request form asks for the song and artist and submits somewhere on the station’s own domain. A dead marketing page loops back to a generic contest signup, has no working submit button, or hasn’t been touched in years — skip it. Submit once per station per reasonable interval, then stop.
Illustrative outlets — verify a request page still exists before using it:
- 102.3 KJLH — Urban AC heritage. Look for “Song Alerts” or a request tool on the station site.
- Local Hot AC / “Kiss” / “Mix” stations — Hot AC. Many use the same request-widget pattern; search the station’s own site first.
- Gospel / Urban AC outlets carrying a Gospel-formatted single — Gospel. Only relevant when the current single is being worked to Gospel radio.
Station websites change. If a request form is gone, skip it.
5
Shazam as a demand signal
This is fan practice, not a Billboard rule: organized Lambs treat daily Shazams as a visible demand signal that some programmers watch. @LegendaryTingz has publicly asked for on the order of about 1,000 Shazams a day on priority titles when a song was stalling under 100. Pair Shazam with real listening and real requests.
Open Shazam while the official recording is playing, identify the correct title and version, and repeat across days — not four hundred times in one minute from one phone.
6
Sales that count
If you are spending money this tracking week
- Buy each distinct digital version of the priority song as its own product — the original, an announced remix, other mixes sold separately.
- Then buy the album.
- Use official U.S. storefronts if the goal is the U.S. Hot 100 / Billboard 200.
- Physical editions count when they ship and when Luminate accepts the configuration — not always the moment you click.
Individual track purchases can register as song sales; the album purchase is the album unit. Buying singles first, then the album, is the sequence public Lambily campaigns use. About ten track sales ≈ one TEA album unit — not the “sale and a half” shorthand.
Not spending money this week? Ignore this card.
Digital: on release week, buying tracks individually (iTunes / Amazon / official store links) creates song sales for the Hot 100. Ten track sales from the same album contribute toward one TEA album unit. Buying only the full album creates album activity but not a stack of Hot 100 song sales.
Physical: vinyl, CD, and official anniversary editions count when they ship and when Luminate accepts the configuration. The Sanctuary does not sell these — objects here are kept, never listed. Please buy from official storefronts.
Public case studies: the September 2025 Here For It All guidance from @LegendaryTingz to buy each digital track separately the day the album locks; the Sugar Sweet campaign’s sales-threshold and reply-with-link visibility on X; and for Glitter 25, the principle of timing remix and original purchases to the correct tracking week rather than burning a sale on the wrong one.
International: the U.S. Hot 100 / Billboard 200 count U.S. reporting streams, U.S. monitored radio, and U.S.-eligible sales. A purchase from a non-U.S. storefront may not help those charts. Listeners elsewhere can still stream the official audio and use Stationhead with Premium, but those listens don’t automatically count as U.S. chart activity — local streaming can still help local charts and overall consumption.

Pre-saves, playlisting, and release weeks
Pre-saving tells DSPs a title has a waiting audience. @LegendaryTingz has called pre-saving “the most important thing” for a strong Glitter 25 debut and for editorial playlist consideration.
- Pre-save official links when they exist.
- Follow Mariah’s official artist profile on each DSP.
- Save the album or song to your own library the day it arrives.
- Add tracks to personal playlists you actually play.
See Glitter at twenty-five for the anniversary hall this applies to first.

Visibility on X and iTunes
Secondary, but part of the public playbook: use the song title, #MariahCarey, #Lambily, and the official store or stream link in replies when a coordinated hour is announced. Quote official @MariahCarey posts rather than building a parallel rumor mill. iTunes ranking is a visibility tool — it is not the Hot 100.
Do not buy engagement, run giveaway-for-retweet schemes, or use bot networks. The writing desk below is how the Sanctuary helps with this without inventing posts from scratch.

Working calendar
As of 2026-09-17 — dated so it can be kept honest.
- Now
- From September 17, 2026: stream, Shazam, request, and Stationhead “All My Life (Channel Tres Remix)” — the current daily priority.
- Glitter at twenty-five
- Anniversary edition targeting October 30, 2026. Pre-save/pre-order the physical edition where official, then buy legitimate editions on street week. The Channel Tres remix remains the daily stream priority unless an official campaign post says otherwise.
- #MariahSZN
- Lambs treat September 1 as the start of Christmas catalogue season — Stationhead parties and daily streams of the Christmas albums and “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
- Here For It All era singles
- Titles that still had radio life in 2026 public posts: “Type Dangerous,” “Sugar Sweet,” “In Your Feelings,” “Nothing Is Impossible,” and “Jesus I Do” (with The Clark Sisters).
- Catalogue justice campaigns
- Anniversary streams for The Emancipation of Mimi, Obsessed, Daydream 30, and other eras as anniversaries come up.
Christmas is a different sport
#MariahSZN and “All I Want for Christmas Is You” are seasonal, not a debut-week radio single — the playbook below is different from a new-single push.
- Official Christmas catalog streams from September 1 onward are the durable habit — not a debut-week radio push.
- Requesting Christmas titles at non-holiday formats in September can look odd; streaming and playlisting matter more until formats flip closer to the holidays.
- Split the year rather than choosing sides: work the autumn anniversary campaign and stream the Christmas catalog on their own schedules. Don’t drop one for the other.
Current chart positions are not tracked live here; this page does not scrape Billboard. Treat any position as documented in public fan chart posts, not live data.
11
How to tell if it’s working
Don’t refresh the public Hot 100 expecting yesterday’s streams to show up the same day — the public chart lags the tracking week by design.
Near-term signals fans actually use instead:
- Official DSP popularity score on the artist or track page.
- Shazam rank for the title.
- iTunes song and album rank.
- Format-airplay posts from chart-watcher accounts.
For a live assignment board, watch @LegendaryTingz and official @MariahCarey — a community source and the artist, not Sanctuary staff and not Billboard. This page still does not scrape Billboard.
12
Honest limits
- Heritage-artist radio is harder than 1990s top 40. Fan work can support Gospel, Urban AC, Hot AC, and catalogue streams more readily than a guaranteed pop #1.
- Programmers add songs; fans cannot force a spin.
- Stationhead rooms only count if premium accounts are actually listening.
- Billboard and Luminate can change weights and can discount activity that looks artificial.
- One person doing everything listed still matters less than many people doing one thing each, daily.
- The Sanctuary will not promise a debut position, a #1, or “if we all do this she will chart.”
13
A one-page checklist
Checked boxes are remembered on this device only — nothing is sent anywhere.
Daily
- Stream All My Life (Channel Tres Remix) on an official DSP to completion
- Shazam that exact title once while the official recording is playing
- Request it at radio as “Mariah Carey - All My Life (Channel Tres Remix)” — not just “All My Life” — at 1–3 real station forms, if a radio campaign is active
- Join a Stationhead room if one is live and you have Premium
Release / anniversary weeks
- Pre-save or add the release to your library the day it arrives
- Buy the remix listing as its own track, in the correct tracking week — a 2001 Glitter album purchase does not count as the remix single
- Pre-order or purchase official Glitter 25 physical only from legitimate retailers, as its own separate anniversary action
- Save the release to your library the hour it lands
Weekly
- Check @LegendaryTingz and official @MariahCarey for the current priority title and live Stationhead link
- Ignore “guaranteed chart” accounts selling streams
- Post once, from your own account — not a bot, not fifty copies of the same reply

Glossary:
- Tracking week
- The Friday–Thursday window Billboard uses to count streams, radio audience, and sales for the following week’s chart.
- TEA (track equivalent album)
- Roughly ten individual track sales from an album count as one album unit toward the Billboard 200.
- SEA (streaming equivalent album)
- A set number of on-demand streams of album tracks counts as one album unit. Billboard’s published ratio changes over time.
- Song Alerts
- A station-website request tool some radio groups use; submitting a title there is a public request, not a guarantee of airplay.
- Mediabase
- A radio audience-monitoring service Billboard draws on for airplay data.
- Combined versions / separate SKUs
- Some mixes of a song are merged into one chart entry; others (an announced remix, for example) sell and stream as their own product.
